Chart Properties allow you to customize your charts in order to create an optimal experience for users of those charts. You can apply a variety of features and functions that enable chart design best practices and intuitive interactions with the data.
General
The General tab gives you the
ability to change different aspects of your chart, such as text font
size and total sorting.
Bar Settings
The Bar Settings tab allows you to
control bar width and interactivity.
Data Label Settings
The Data Label Settings tab allows
you to set static data labels you want to be visible and what types of metrics
you want to include in these labels.
Value Scale (Y) and Category Scale (X)
In both the Value Scale (Y) and
Category Scale (X) tabs, you have the option of changing the label for the
scale, changing the format of the label, and adding Min and Max features to
your chart.
Hover Text Settings
In the Hover Text Settings tab,
you can set what text you would like to appear when a viewer hovers the
cursor over aspects of the chart, as well as adjust the format for that
content.
Number Format
The Number Format tab allows you
to choose if or which currency symbols should appear and if you want to add
abbreviations or thousands separators in those currencies.
Colors
The Colors tab gives you the
ability to apply color rules to chart elements, such as different series
within a bar chart.
