an existing Layout
Replacing
Cards
There
are two ways you can replace a card in a Domo Story with any existing card
you have access to in your Domo instance. Cards you replace are sent to
the Appendix section at the bottom of the page.
To
replace a card with an existing Card not already on your Dashboard,
1.
Select Edit Dashboard in the wrench menu in the top right corner of
the page.
2.
Mouse over the card you want to replace.
3. In
the Edit Content menu that appears, click Choose different card.
4.
Locate the card you want to add by entering its name in the Search Cards field
and clicking on it.
To
replace a card with an existing Card already on your Dashboard,
1.
Select Edit Dashboard in the wrench menu in the top right corner of
the page.
2.
Drag and drop the Card to the location you want it to live. (Scroll down to see
this in action.)
The
new card fills the old card's slot and the old card is sent to
the Appendix section at the bottom of the page.
With
all Domo Stories editing options, make sure to click Save after you make
changes so you don't lose your work.

Use
color to communicate strategically; for example, you can match the metrics of
cards with the same colors for easier viewing of data.
You
can also use color and text for navigation. Use Stories to add text to indicate
actions that need to be taken or highlight cards that are not tracking well
toward a goal.
You
can also add color backgrounds on your instructions for how to use the
card, so users know where to look on every page for that information when
viewing stories.
Distributing Your Domo Stories
Print or PDF
Domo Stories allow
you to create print or PDF visuals. Make sure your designs fit on a one-layout-per-page
format for easy distribution and viewing.
Mobile
You can also set up
your Domo Stories for Mobile consumption. Viewers can go through the individual
cards in a template on their phone and use all of the interaction filters.
Scheduled
Reports
You can send out
Scheduled Reports that contain your fully-formatted Domo Stories layout in
emails to specified team members.
