The Domo Appstore is the premier destination for decision-makers to find answers to their business questions. It offers Domo customers over 1,000 apps targeting use cases across dozens of industries, departments, roles, and business apps.
Types of App in
Domo:
Dashboard App:
Dashboard apps
are packs of template KPI cards aimed at supplying a dashboard for a
common use case encountered by customers. Each app is associated with a
particular third-party connector that you can power up with your own data in a
matter of minutes.
You power
up Dashboard Apps by connecting your data to the app using the designated
connector and, typically, by entering your credentials and/or other
requested information. When you install a Dashboard App, a page for the
app is added to your Domo instance. This page contains all of the cards
associated with the specific use case and associated connector, powered by
your own live data.
In addition, even if
a Dashboard doesn't exactly match your use case, you can use them to
get an idea of what direction to go with your dashboard and identify shortcuts
for quickly building out that dashboard.
Connectors:
In addition to being able to create a DataSet
using a cloud connector in the Data Center, you can also deploy a Connector
directly throug the Appstore.
Customer Apps:
These apps
include customized charts and images to present data measurements as
well as rich visualizations.
Custom apps are
typically paid for apps. Search for Enterprise App in the
Appstore, select the custom app you're interested in, and click Request
Demo.
You can also create
Custom Apps yourself using Domo's Design Studio app, an Adobe Illustrator-based
plug in, or Domo's Dev Studio, a tool best suited for web or app developers.
Then, upload these to your Asset Library in the Appstore.
Code Blocks:
You can find Code
Block apps by going to the Appstore and simply searching for Code Block. Once
you click into the app details view, you'll know right away if a code block is
included if the Code Block option is highlighted.
Code Block apps are
currently available for the following code types:
- Beast Mode
- SQL
- R
- Python
- Jupyter Notebooks

you to create advanced visualizations and apps that can be customized by simply
