For cards in Domo Stories, you can define the actions that take place when a user clicks on a card.
Custom
card interactions are only available for cards in Domo Stories and can be
accessed from the Edit view of Domo Stories. Then, click the Edit
Content menu for a
specific Card and select Change interaction.
Opening the card details view
You can configure a card's Details
view to open in another browser tab.
Enabling interactions filters
You can enable interactions
filters for all cards powered by the same DataSet as this card, either for all
such cards on the page or for selected cards. Click here for more details on how to do this.
Drill in Place
Enabling Drill in Place allows
users to drill down into the Card wihtout having to first open the Details
view. Drill into the data right from the Dashboard view.
Link to anything in Domo
You can link to other content
in Domo, either in the same browser tab or in a different tab. This is a great
way to customize images to link out to other content.
Opening a specific web page
You can configure an external web
page to open when a card is clicked.
Disable Card interactions
Selecting this option will allow
no interactivity with the card. It will only display current data and filters.
This is a great option to avoid users clicking on the card elements to
filter the entire Story Dashboard.
Domo Stories:
Adding
a Domo Stories Page
In
addition to converting a Standard Page to a Domo Stories Dashboard, you can
also create a blank Domo Story Page in seconds. To do this, simply choose New
Story from the Add to Domo plus icon in the Navigational Header.
Using a Layout as a template
You can create your
own layout by dragging and dropping the card anywhere on the page. This works
for both existing cards, or when you create a new card placeholder by dragging
and dropping the card icon from the panel on the right. Drop zones will
highlight, showing you where the card placeholder will be created.
